We Can Breathe!

“One day, as we were going to the house of prayer, we encountered a young slave girl who had an evil spirit of divination, the spirit of Python. She had earned great profits for her owners by being a fortune-teller. She kept following us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Great High God, and they’re telling us how to be saved!” Day after day she continued to do this, until Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit indwelling her, “I command you in the name of Jesus, the Anointed One, to come out of her, now!” At that very moment, the spirit came out of her! When her owners realized that their potential of making profit had vanished, they forcefully seized Paul and Silas and dragged them off to the city square to face the authorities.”

The Lord released revelation concerning the pressure we have been feeling over the past two weeks. We watched the brutal murder of George Floyd. We heard his last words, “I can’t breathe”. From that point on, we have seen T-shirts, social media posts in solidarity echoing his same words, “I can’t breathe.”

 The python spirit comes to choke the life, the wind, and the breath out of you. When you are under attack from a python spirit, there is an uncommon sense of heaviness and oppression. As much as it is a false prophetic spirit, it is also a wicked spirit of bondage. It was no mistake that it was attempting to distract and derail the apostle Paul was on his way to pray. It wanted to stall the mission that God had sent him on. It wanted to abort the apostolic assignment. Python comes to rob the life-giving force of anointing and power.

 Below are prayer points that can be prayed to counterattack demonic pressure, opposition, and the works of the Python Spirit. The prayer points are simply a reference. Remember the Holy Spirit is your guide. Ask the Holy Spirit to customize your words.

• Lord Jesus, I declare that you will arise in your power and destroy every attack that is waged on the kingdom and body of Christ, in the name of Jesus.
• We declare failure upon all of Satan’s efforts. Lord, we counter every attack that the enemy is planning for the church, and we nullify them by the power in the name of Jesus.
• We declare the fire of God upon any evil works that do not want the church to succeed. We destroy the evil by fire in the name of Jesus.
• We destroy every arrow that is shot at the church, and we destroy it in the name of Jesus.
• Your word alone shall stand. The blood of the Lamb destroys every schedule and plan of the enemy to make the church fail.
• We destroy all the attacks of evil over our prayer lives, in the name of Jesus.
• We declare spiritual strength so that we can quickly identify the schemes of the enemy that could cause the church to fall, in the name of Jesus.
• We rebuke and destroy spiritual darkness, any power, or scheme that wants to hinder the church in the name of Jesus.
• We declare victory over resistant and stubborn attacks in the name of Jesus.
• I decree the fire of God Almighty upon every gathering of people that aim to harm me or cause me sorrow. Let the unquenchable fire from the throne of God begin to consume them right now in the name of Jesus.
• We declare peace in the land, in the name of Jesus.
• We declare deliverance from strongholds and bondage, in the name of Jesus.
• We declare that men and women are transformed by the renewing of their minds, in the name of Jesus. We seal the gates of their minds in the blood of Jesus.
• Disgrace my enemies and scatter their plans, in the name of Jesus. 
• Any spiritual wickedness done against my life, be reversed now, in the name of Jesus. 
• Anointing to overcome powers of darkness, come upon me, in the name of Jesus. 
• I subdue every ruler of darkness attacking my life, in the name of Jesus. 
• Let the truth in your word vindicate me from every evil accusation, in the name of Jesus. 
• Set me free in the camp of my enemies and let them be put to shame, in the name of Jesus. 
• Whatever the devil has stolen from me, killed or destroyed, I recover them back in seven-fold, in the name of Jesus. 
• We receive an anointing for victory to defeat my enemies forever, in the name of Jesus. 
• We are celebrated daily in life, in the name of Jesus. 
• Show me your glory and lift me in the name of Jesus.

• Baptize, O Lord, with the fullness of the Holy Ghost and let me be divinely directed in all that I do, in the name of Jesus. 
• We receive power to overcome my enemies daily, in the name of Jesus. 
• Every hindrance to my breakthroughs, be removed now, in the name of Jesus. 
• We declare You are doing a new thing regarding my life and let it spring up quickly, in the name of Jesus. 
• Anointing to possess my possessions, come upon me now, in the name of Jesus. 
• Jesus, take me out of every demonic wilderness of life, in the name of Jesus. 
• Lord Jesus create rivers for me in any desert I find myself in life, in the name of Jesus. 
• Anointing to win life battles and carry on successfully, come upon me now, in the name of Jesus. 
• Lord Jesus, give me the wisdom I need to rule my generation, in the name of Jesus. 
• Deliver me from every snare of the enemy, O Lord, in the name of Jesus.
• We receive the gift of discernment to detect every bait from the camp of my enemies, in the name of Jesus. 
• We receive divine power to be focused in life, in the name of Jesus.
• I bind you, the spirit of confusion, in the name of Jesus. 
• Every principality and power assigned against my life, be destroyed, by the blood of Jesus. 
• We declare total victory to win all battles in the spiritual realm and physical, overtake my life now, in the name of Jesus. 

We stand in faith for victory. We stand in faith for healing. We stand in faith declaring I CAN BREATHE IN THE NAME OF JESUS!
